On the Super Mario side, retiring sets include the Super Mario World Mario and Yoshi set, Piranha Plant, Adventures with Interactive LEGO Mario, Yoshi Bike, Standard Kart, Baby Mario vs. Baby Luigi, Toad’s Garage, Baby Peach and Grand Prix Set, Wario and King Boo, Bowser’s Castle, Captain Toad’s Camp, Party at Toad’s House, Prince Florian and Castle Bowser, and Piranha Plant Power-Up Pursuit. The Pac-Man Arcade set, technically a broader gaming crossover, is also on the list.
Animal Crossing fans lose Leif’s Caravan and Garden Shop, Able Sisters Clothing Shop, and Creative Houses: Seasons of Fun. The Sonic side sees Super Shadow vs. Biolizard head out. And from Zelda, the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 and The Trial Chamber are both retiring.
The Great Deku Tree Problem
The Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 is probably the highest-profile loss on the list. Originally priced at $299.99, the set was already a significant investment, and according to Nintendo Life, it is currently sold out at Lego directly. That combination of high original price and limited remaining stock is a familiar setup for what comes next: third-party sellers on resale platforms tend to push prices up sharply once a sought-after set goes end-of-life.

Looking ahead, Nintendo Life also mentions that Donkey Kong fans have something new to anticipate: an arcade-inspired Lego set based on the original 1980s Donkey Kong game, with an official announcement described as incoming. Images have reportedly already surfaced, and the set has apparently shown up in stores ahead of any formal reveal. It is a small consolation for anyone grieving the Pac-Man Arcade set’s retirement.
For now, if any of the sets listed above still show as available at Lego’s storefront or a trusted retailer, the window to buy at regular pricing is closing fast.
